Lime Biscuits With Basil Icing


During the week I made some biscuits. The dough was made with rye and red quinoa flours and aromatised with lime zests.

   

Because I do not used wheat or any white flours my doughs are always dark and rustic.

Once the biscuits were cooked and cooled I have prepared an icing with fresh basil.

 

The result was delicious with a combination of several flavours. The basil was discret enough to not overtake the other flavours.
