Marble Cake


It has been again a busy weekend at le Comptoir as I had to plan food for 15 persons for my son's Birthday Party. It was a bit stressful but very rewarding as I was able to create two new wheat free cake recipes (Lemon Drizzle and a Marble Cake) as well as a new salad (which will need some improvement).

The marble cake was made with a combination of spelt and kamut flour.

   

After doing the appropriate modificatikns, the batter had the right consistency.

 

The end result was delicious, the cake was baked uniformly and had well raised.
